About Deer Cave
Home to the largest bat exodus on Earth with over 3 million wrinkle-lipped bats. The southern entrance is one of the largest cave openings known at 146 m wide and 126 m high. A collapsed section called the Garden of Eden lets daylight flood a hidden jungle. The dusk bat swarm forms living clouds that spiral out for hours. Named for the deer that came to lick salt from the rocks.
