About Dobsina Ice Cave
One of the oldest show caves in Europe. The underground ice lies deeper than the entrance level, a rare cold trap. Ice formations reach over 26 m thick in places. Opened to visitors in 1871. Human bones and pottery found inside prove ancient visitors came before modern discovery.
