About Fingals Cave
A sea cave with perfectly hexagonal basalt columns forming the walls. Named after the hero of an epic poem by James Macpherson. Felix Mendelssohn composed the Hebrides Overture after visiting. The columns match those at Giants Causeway in Ireland.
