About Lamprechtsofen Cave
One of the deepest caves in the world at 1,732 m. A river cave whose entrance canyon floods violently in wet weather. Part of the system serves as a show cave for visitors. Polish expeditions pushed the depth record through the 1990s. Legend says a knight returning from the Crusades walled himself inside.
