Contains 600 parietal wall paintings dating to 17,000 years ago. Called the Sistine Chapel of Prehistory. Closed to the public since 1963 to preserve the art. Lascaux II and IV replicas allow visitors to see reproductions. The paintings include horses, bison, and stags.
