About Sof Omar Cave
The longest cave system in Africa at over 15 km. Carved by the Weyib River through limestone. Sacred in local Muslim tradition and named after a sheikh who sheltered here. The river sinks at the spectacular Ayiew Maco entrance. Massive portals and natural bridges honeycomb the valley.
