A giant marine sinkhole visible from space. Made famous by Jacques Cousteau who ranked it among the top dive sites on Earth. Formed in stages during Ice Age sea level changes. Stalactites deep below the surface prove it was once a dry cave. Part of the Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System, a UNESCO site.
